Music is more than a source of entertainment. It’s an entire ecosystem, made up of songwriters and performers, producers, musicians, fans and businesses, each with an essential role to play. The time has come for Fair Trade Music - a revolutionary movement promoting a fair and sustainable music ecosystem from creator to consumer and everyone in between. Desmond Child hosts this panel discussion with notable songwriters and composers, each one a master musical craftsman and an outspoken champion for music creators’ rights. They’ll outline what we all need to do to preserve and strengthen our rights and keep music, along with the vital businesses that support our creativity, thriving for decades to come.
